ENGLISH COURSE
The 3 days Modern Endodontics Masterclass is structured with presentations of several clinical cases, literature reviews and clinical video demonstrations.
During hands-on ( more than 18 hours!) participants will be able to perform several complete endodontic procedure.
Program is focused on clinical part.
The Modern Endodontics is based on minimal invasive intervention principles aimed at preserving the tooth integrity and its structure.
These principles are required in all the endodontics steps, starting from opening access cavity to the root canal obturation.
Partecipants will learn how to perform a modern procedure with the latest tools and technology available today.

DAY 1 Primary treatment , opening a “smart” Endodontic access.

- Anatomy and access cavity technique with burs and ultrasonic

Day 2 SCOUTING AND SHAPING
Lecture (3,5 hours)
- Biological and mechanical principles of Shaping.
- Ni-Ti instruments features, how to prevent instruments separation
- Canal scouting and working length. Manual and Rotary Glide Path.
- Shaping procedures with Ni-Ti rotary instruments. Shaping of the apical third: gauging with manual Ni-ti instruments and apical finishing
Hands on ( rest of the time)
The objective of this workshop is to give to doctors the rational to understand how to perform safely the procedure of scouting and shaping
The participants will Exercise on simulator and extracted teeth and will do Manual and rotary Glide Path and Shaping with Rotary Ni-Ti instruments.

DAY 3 3D OBTURATION
Lecture (2,5 hours)
- Modern Cleaning protocols: irrigation instruments and techniques.
- Biological principles of endodontic obturation.
- Continuous wave of condensation: obturation technique and backfilling with thermoplastic guttapercha.
- Carrier based obturation: indications and technique
Hands on ( rest of the time)
The objective of this workshop is to give to Partecipants the best technique and protocol to perform an efficient 3d obturation.
The participants will progress through different obturation techniques and will perform 3d obturation on extracted teeth.
